Mickiewicza towards Kuznica, is one of the few places on the Polish coast where in one afternoon you can see the entire Hel Peninsula from the air: by plane, helicopter, or in a tandem jump from 4000 meters. Jastarnia airfield operates seasonally from May to September and serves scenic flights, parachute jumps, aerial advertising, and occasional charter flights. It is a grassy runway about 900 meters long, of which about 660 meters are in use, with an informal, friendly atmosphere; the pilot and instructor are usually available on site.
A typical scenic flight lasts 10 to 15 minutes at an altitude of 300 to 400 meters, which is enough to see the entire Hel Peninsula from a bird's eye view. The two most common routes are towards Hel, with a view of the spit and the entrance to Zatoka Gdanska, or towards Wladyslawowo, with the expanding peninsula and the open Baltic Sea.
